Key Workflows
Instant Booking Notifications
Smart Alerts notify you within minutes of a new arrest for any name on your watch list. The moment a booking record hits a covered county roster, DocketStream fires an alert with charge details and bond information — so you can make contact before anyone else.
Bond Tracking
Monitor bond amounts and status changes for every active client in real time. Whether a judge reduces bond, a hold is placed, or a release is processed, Smart Alerts surface the change instantly so you can advise your client or coordinate a bond posting without delay.
Court Date Sync
The Court Calendar surfaces hearing dates, judge assignments, and courtroom details across State, Superior, Magistrate, and Warrant courts. Keep your calendar current without manually checking individual court portals.
Case Research
Search Georgia court cases before your first consultation. Review a defendant’s prior charge history, case outcomes, court of record, and active matters across all covered counties — giving you a complete picture before you pick up the phone.
Set Up Client Monitoring
Once a client retains you or you post a bond, set up full monitoring in under two minutes.1
Create a Smart Alert Watcher
Go to Smart Alerts and click New Watcher. Enter the client’s full legal name as it appears on their booking record. DocketStream will begin monitoring all covered county rosters and corrections feeds for that name immediately.
2
Link to Their Court Case
Navigate to Court Cases and search for the client’s active matter. Open the case record and note the case number, assigned judge, and next scheduled hearing date. Bookmark the case for quick access from your dashboard.
3
Track Bond Changes
From the booking record or the client’s watcher detail page, review the current bond amount and type. Any changes — reduction, increase, hold, or release — will trigger your Smart Alert and update the record in real time. You’ll know about a bond modification before the jail phone queue clears.
4
Monitor the Court Calendar
Open Court Cases → Calendar and filter by your client’s case number or judge assignment. Confirm upcoming hearing dates and check for courtroom changes or newly scheduled events. Set a secondary Smart Alert on the case to catch any newly scheduled hearings or continuances.
5
Respond to Alerts
When an alert fires, click through to the full event detail. For bookings, you’ll see the charge, arresting agency, bond amount, and a direct link to the court case. For releases, you’ll see the release time and method. Every alert includes a timestamp and a direct link to the underlying public record.
