Beyond county jail rosters, DocketStream surfaces a comprehensive view of Georgia’s state-level corrections system. The Corrections module aggregates data directly from the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC), giving you searchable access to offender profiles, parole supervision records, the state sex offender registry, facility information, and scheduled release dates — all linked to the same unified profiles you access through the roster and court case views.

Data Categories

GDC Offenders

Profiles of individuals currently in Georgia state custody. Each profile includes the individual’s GDC ID, offense history, sentencing information, current institution assignment, and photo.

Parolees

Records of individuals who have been released from state custody and are actively under parole supervision. Includes supervision status, supervising officer district, and conditions of parole where available.

Sex Offender Registry

Georgia’s state-maintained sex offender registry, updated as changes are reported to the GDC. Includes registered address, offense details, registration tier, and compliance status.

Institutions

Reference data for all GDC facility locations across Georgia, including institution type (state prison, transitional center, probation detention center), capacity, and contact information.

Release Dates

Scheduled and actual release information for GDC offenders, including tentative release dates, mandatory release dates, and parole eligibility dates where the GDC makes this data available.

Searching Corrections Data

Navigate to Corrections

Click Corrections in the top navigation bar to open the corrections data module.

Choose a Data Category

Select from the category tabs at the top of the Corrections view: GDC Offenders, Parolees, Sex Offender Registry, Institutions, or Release Dates.

Search by Name or GDC ID

Enter a full legal name or a known GDC ID number into the search bar and press Enter. Searching by GDC ID returns a direct match; searching by name returns all records matching that name across the selected category.

Review the Profile

Click any result to open the full corrections profile. From there you can view all fields for that record and access any linked county arrest history.

Linking GDC Profiles to County Records

DocketStream’s AI-powered Mugshot Matching engine automatically links GDC offender photos to county-level arrest records. When a match is confirmed:
  • The GDC offender profile displays a County Bookings section listing all linked arrest records
  • Each county booking entry shows charges, bond, and current custody status
  • Clicking View in Roster from the corrections profile takes you directly to the individual’s live roster entry
This bidirectional linking means you can start your investigation from either the county roster or the GDC corrections record and arrive at the same complete picture.
If you find a GDC offender profile but don’t see linked county records, use the Enrich button on the corresponding roster entry to manually trigger the matching process. Enrichment pulls the GDC profile into the roster record and re-attempts the photo match.

Update Frequency

  • GDC Offender Profiles: Refreshed regularly as DocketStream synchronizes with GDC data sources. Profile updates — including new institution assignments and sentence modifications — are reflected within each sync cycle.
  • Sex Offender Registry: Updated as changes are reported to the state by local registering agencies. Registry compliance status and address changes propagate to DocketStream after state-level confirmation.
  • Release Dates: Updated whenever the GDC modifies scheduled release information. Parole eligibility dates may change based on disciplinary actions or earned-time credits.
Sex offender registry data displayed in DocketStream is sourced from the official GDC registry and is provided for informational purposes only. Registry records can change between DocketStream’s synchronization cycles. For any legal proceeding, law enforcement action, or official determination, always verify current registration status directly with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Georgia Sex Offender Registry or the official GDC portal. Do not rely solely on DocketStream data for compliance, sentencing, or enforcement decisions.
