DocketStream’s Live Inmate Roster gives you instant visibility into who is currently booked across Georgia’s county jails and facilities in North Carolina — all from a single, unified interface. Instead of manually checking individual county websites, you get a consolidated feed of active bookings, charges, bond amounts, and inmate photos that refreshes automatically throughout the day.

How the Roster Works

DocketStream aggregates booking data from 8+ Georgia counties (including Clayton County) and 27+ roster counties, as well as select North Carolina facilities. Every record in the roster is sourced directly from official county jail systems and synchronized on a rolling basis.

Coverage and Refresh Frequency

Roster data refreshes automatically every 30–60 minutes. The auto-refresh indicator on each county panel shows you exactly when the last sync completed and when the next one is scheduled. If you need the freshest available data immediately, use the Sync Now button to trigger a manual refresh on demand.

Data Columns

Each roster entry surfaces the following fields:

Browsing the Roster

1

Navigate to Roster

From the top navigation bar, click Roster. The roster overview loads with all available counties listed.
2

Select a County

Click on any county panel to expand its live booking list. Counties with recent activity are highlighted at the top.
3

Check the Auto-Refresh Indicator

Beneath the county name, review the Last Synced timestamp and the countdown to the next automatic refresh. This tells you how current the data is.
4

Use Sync Now for an Immediate Update

Click the Sync Now button on any county panel to pull the latest available data from that county’s jail system right away.
5

Expand a Record

Click any row in the booking list to expand the full inmate detail view, including all charges, bond information, booking timeline, and any linked GDC profile data.

Mugshot Matching

DocketStream uses AI-powered facial recognition to automatically link Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) photos to county-level arrest records. When the system identifies a match between a GDC offender photo and a county booking mugshot, it surfaces a unified profile that combines:
  • The county booking record (charges, bond, status)
  • The individual’s GDC corrections history (prior incarcerations, offenses, release dates)
  • Parole or supervision status, if applicable
Mugshot matching is performed automatically in the background. When a match is found, a GDC Linked badge appears on the roster entry. Click the badge to open the full unified profile.

AutoRefresh Toggle

The AutoRefresh toggle lets you control whether the roster updates itself on the 30–60 minute schedule while your browser tab is open.
  • Enabled (default): The roster fetches fresh data automatically at each interval. A live countdown timer shows the time until the next refresh.
  • Disabled: The roster freezes at the last loaded state. Use this when you need to review records without the display updating mid-review.
To toggle AutoRefresh, click the AutoRefresh switch in the upper-right corner of any county roster panel.

Enriching a Record

For any roster entry that has a linked GDC offender profile, you can click Enrich to pull in additional corrections data on demand. Enrichment appends:
  • GDC offender ID and state file number
  • Sentence and offense history from state corrections
  • Current institution or supervision assignment
  • Scheduled release date (when available)
Use Enrich when you need a complete picture of an individual’s corrections history beyond what the county booking record provides. Enrichment is especially useful for repeat offenders with multiple county bookings.

Data and Accuracy

All roster data is sourced from public record systems maintained by individual county jails. Records are refreshed every 30–60 minutes; some counties may experience brief delays due to system maintenance or upstream availability. DocketStream displays data as reported — always verify critical details directly with the originating county for legal or official purposes.
