Navigating a correctional intelligence platform means juggling rosters, court records, alert dashboards, and corrections profiles — often under time pressure. DocketAI is an Azure AI-powered conversational assistant embedded directly in DocketStream that lets you ask plain-language questions and get immediate, contextual answers drawn from the platform’s live dataset. Instead of clicking through multiple tabs to piece together information, you can ask DocketAI in your own words and get a direct response in seconds.

What You Can Ask DocketAI

DocketAI understands questions across four core areas of DocketStream’s data:
Ask DocketAI about the current booking status of specific individuals, recent bookings in a given county, or details about a particular arrest record.Example questions:
  • “Is John Smith currently booked in Fulton County?”
  • “What are the charges on the most recent booking for Marcus Davis in Clayton County?”
  • “Who was booked in the last 24 hours in Gwinnett County?”
Ask DocketAI which jurisdictions DocketStream covers, whether a specific county is available, or what data types are available for a given region.Example questions:
  • “Which counties do you cover?”
  • “Is Cobb County available in the roster?”
  • “Do you have court records for North Carolina?”
Ask DocketAI for step-by-step guidance on creating or managing Smart Alert watchers, understanding plan limits, or configuring notification settings.Example questions:
  • “How do I set up a watcher for multiple people?”
  • “What’s the difference between the Starter and Professional plans for alerts?”
  • “Can I pause a watcher without deleting it?”
Ask DocketAI about upcoming court hearings, specific case details, or how to find a case by number.Example questions:
  • “When is case 2024-CR-1234 next scheduled?”
  • “Does Jane Doe have any upcoming Superior Court hearings?”
  • “What is the current status of case 2023-M-5678?”

Limitations

DocketAI answers questions based on currently indexed data in DocketStream. It does not query external sources in real time and is not connected to live county systems directly. For the most current booking status or court case information, always verify your answer by navigating to the Roster or Courts tabs after DocketAI responds.
DocketAI is not a substitute for professional legal advice. Responses are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be incomplete or imprecise, particularly for edge cases or recently changed records. Use DocketAI as a starting point for your investigation, not as the final authority.

Tips for Getting the Best Answers

DocketAI performs best with specific, direct questions. Include full names, county names, and case numbers when you have them. Vague queries like “tell me about recent arrests” return broader, less targeted results than “show me bookings in Clayton County in the last 12 hours.”
Use DocketAI for quick lookups and navigation — it excels at rapidly orienting you to the right part of the platform. For detailed investigation workflows that require filtering, sorting, exporting, or cross-referencing multiple records, switch to the Search, Roster, and Courts tabs where you have full control over the interface.
