## Cross-Referencing with the Inmate Roster

Court case records and roster entries are linked wherever DocketStream can confirm a match. When viewing a court case detail:

* Look for the **Roster Entry** badge on the defendant panel
* Click **View in Roster** to jump directly to that individual's current or most recent county booking record
* The roster entry will show current custody status, bond amount, and any linked GDC corrections data

This cross-reference is bidirectional — from a roster record, you can also click **View Court Cases** to see all indexed cases associated with that individual.

<Note>
  Court data is synchronized with source systems multiple times daily. Case status changes, new filings, and hearing updates are reflected as soon as DocketStream's next synchronization cycle completes. For time-sensitive legal proceedings, always verify case details directly with the originating court clerk.
